IGP
Income Generation Programme (IGP) is a vital initiative aimed at promoting economic self-sufficiency and improving livelihoods for marginalized communities in MIDS Operational area. It focuses on creating opportunities for families to achieve financial stability through various support mechanisms.

The IGP offers free-of-cost support for starting small-scale enterprises, livestock farming, and commercial machinery purchases. This assistance is provided by SAFP FDP to help beneficiaries establish income sources and achieve financial stability. By covering essential resources, IGP enables families to improve their livelihoods and maintain a reasonable standard of living.
Livestock Farming
IGP supports families in starting and managing poultry farms, goat rearing, and other livestock ventures. These activities help improve food security, generate income, and provide a sustainable source of livelihood for rural families
Small-Scale Business
The program fosters the development of small businesses including grocery shops, tailoring shops, cloth shops, computer centers, flower shops, fruit and vegetable vendors, home appliances rental, rubber shops, and snack stalls. IGP offers financial assistance for the establishment and growth of these enterprises, helping families achieve economic independence.
Commercial Goods and Machinery
IGP provides support for the purchase of commercial machinery and essential equipment such as grinders, pumps, and motors. This support is crucial for enabling families to start and run their commercial ventures effectively.
