Sustainable Agriculture Promotion
Sustainable agriculture focuses on producing food in ways that are environmentally friendly and beneficial to community livelihoods. MIDS is dedicated to promoting such practices to improve the long-term health of both the environment and the agricultural sector.

Key Initiatives
Training and Awareness Programs
MIDS offers training programs to educate farmers on sustainable agriculture practices. These sessions teach farmers how to use bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and other organic methods to improve crop yields and protect the environment. Topics include making Fish Amino Acid (FAA), Panchagavya, Jeevamrit, and Effective Microorganisms (EM) solutions, helping farmers move away from chemical farming to more eco-friendly techniques.
Financial Support for Livelihood Activities
To help farmers transition to sustainable agriculture, MIDS provides financial aid for projects like chicken rearing, beekeeping, and vermicomposting. This support helps farmers diversify their income sources and improve their agricultural practices. By funding these initiatives, MIDS promotes both environmental sustainability and better livelihoods for farmers.
